Senior Manager, Learning & Development

We are looking for a Senior Manager of Learning & Development to join our innovative team!  

The Snr Manager, L&D will be a one-person team who assesses training and development needs for our clients by selling and creating the content for training manuals, in-person training sessions, online training modules and any other learning and development needs our clients have. This persons’ main focuses are:

  1. Identifying client training needs to inform the development of curriculum and training assets
  2. Creates training assets and ensures training development deliverables meet the clients’ expectations
  3. Grow existing client business and assist with new business development

Senior Manager, Learning and Development Responsibilities:

  • Creates, delivers and oversees training programs that include web-based seminars, printed manuals, group sessions, training videos, and more
  • Determines training needs and requirements for our clients by meeting with managers, talking with employees, or administering surveys as needed
  • Reviews existing training materials to determine appropriateness and relevance, re-purposing where it makes sense
  • Modifies or creates course materials and training manuals to meet specific training needs
  • Presents in-person and online training sessions – this means you have executive presence, enthusiasm, and likeability 
  • Schedules training sessions, organizes information technology and other equipment, and manages course enrollment
  • Monitors training programs and manuals to ensure that they are effective and up-to-date and makes updates as necessary
  • Works with managers to address learning issues, instruction problems, or new educational needs 
  • Manages costs for all programs, productions, and publications in order to report to organization executives regarding a return on investment
  • Keeps current on training trends, maintaining an understanding of new educational and training techniques and methods

Senior Manager, Learning & Development Skills & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree

  • Articulate, Vyond or other L&D content development tools experience required
